Mollie Barrow runs the Spleodar Glass Studio from her home in North Tipperary, in the heart of the Irish countryside.  Working with kiln-formed glass since 2000, she has taken an experimental approach to developing one of a kind artworks using different elements of glass such as enamels, powders, frits and stringers, as well as the more traditional use of float glasses for structure and integrity.

Inspired by the seemingly chaotic beauty of the cosmos and its riotous palette of colour, Mollie's kiln-formed glass bowls, sculptures, wall panels and jewellery aim to suggest the infinite--from the macrocosm of deepest space to the microcosms encapsulated in our smallest natural systems.
